Surveying can produce different degree of accuracy depending on the requirement of the project.

A typical survey achieved a relative vertical accuracy and 1.2 cm relative horizontal accuracy.

For achieving high absolute accuracy drones are equipped with real time kinematics (RTK) and post processing Kinematics (PPK) capabilities when paired with few GCP survey level accuracy can be achieved. In U.S the main document governing accuracy is positional accuracy standards for digital Geospecial Data published in 2014.

A survey of 1 km2 with 2 cm resolution generates over 45 GB of data which need to be processed, stored and delivered to the client.

Once the mission is completed the next step is to process the data as per requirement to make all important decision.
